Analyze

4.

Use your head. By this I mean that you should be careful to analyze the objective data in the early going. Your feelings in the matter are part of the fact set and can be cranked in as such, but the strong tendency is to allow feelings such as fear, love, excitement, anger, fantasy, etc. to drive the process and determine the outcome you WANT which you then use your head to JUSTIFY. At this stage resist letting feelings take over…keep the process in your head.

Game

This life is a game. You can win, or you can lose, and you can play for hours and days and weeks and years, but in the end you will either win, or you will lose. There is no guarantee as to which side the wind will blow and what fate has in store for you. All you have to do is walk the path that you see and ditch torments and fears.

There are no ties, there are no equal forfeits, there is no compromise or gray zone, it's either black or white, top or bottom, there or not. There is always 'or' and there is no definition or scientific code to make you go for the even than the odd. You will just have to keep trying, whether or not you will be surviving.

But here's the secret, the cheat code to the game. Some might think I am just being stupid to not apply it if I know it but this cheat code really needs determination and push, without the real 'want' there is no way I am unlocking all the locks.

You can only loose if you give up. As long as you keep trying, you win. Even if you fail at every turn. Even if you hurt and you cry when you go to sleep at night, and you would rather die than get up in the mornings, if you don't give up, you win. I am the dawn I keep telling me. i will fall when the night breaks but I will rise to a new beginning. The path will lead me astray but I will have to make a vow to fight my way back. I will have to know that thorns will prick me and I will bleed but in the end I will only survive if I am determined to be.

You have to fight to better yourself. Do you think anyone was ever truly better off because they just waited for things to blow over all their lives? Or because they just dealt with their problems silently and acted like they weren't hurting? Living day after painstaking day suffering alone.

Even if you don't give up on life, even if you don't stop playing the game permanently, you can lose. You lose when you abandon. The day, the instant, the moment you begin just moving the pawn and rolling the dice without caring where they land, you've lost.

Don't lose. Don't give up. Even though this game is long, and this game is tiring, it's going to get better. It may have to get worse first. It may not be better tomorrow, or the day after, or the day after that, but you can't let it get to you.

Hold your head up high, and when they try to bring you down, lean back, put on some good music, and roll again.

Decisions in Life

Life requires that we make decisions, often and continuously. Some decisions are small with limited impact, like “where should I park?”; but some are very large and potentially life changing, like “should I go back to college?” We make decisions in our personal lives, within our families, and related to our employment to name just three of the many channels. There came a time in my life that I realized that a structured process for decision making would improve the outcomes, potentially worth much for the larger decisions.

Stay tuned for one STEP everyday :)

Give to Everyday

There will always be a reason to give up, and there will always be a reason to keep going. The question is, which reason will you choose to focus upon?

Your troubles will get the best of you if you give all your time and attention to them. But you always have another choice.

You can give your attention to the positive possibilities. You can choose to focus upon what’s right with life.

There is something you can do in this very moment to create a little bit of positive value in your world. Though it may not seem like much, just one small positive action can have an enormous impact.

Even the smallest step has a clear and unmistakable direction. When you choose to take action, you choose to take control.

Don’t allow your life to be defined by the difficulties that come your way. For beyond them all, you have something unique and beautiful to give to every day.

6 Healthy Foods to Feed Your Hungry Dreams

1. A story

Nothing nourishes your dreams like feeding your mind and senses. Even if all you have is five minutes you can read, watch, and listen to a story that will inspire and motivate you even longer than the time you spent listening, reading, or watching.

2. Frustration and failure

It might taste bitter to you and your dreams but frustration and failure contain essential vitamins and nutrients that will strengthen, motivate, and create perseverance.

3. A worthwhile purpose

Just like you, your dreams need purpose to live. And not just any purpose; a noble purpose, an authentic purpose, a worthwhile purpose.

Purposes that are rooted in earning as much money as possible or in garnering fame cannot sustain a dream for long.

Dreams need purposes such as to help others, whether they be strangers or your loved ones, or to leave a legacy.

4. Criticism

Criticism is just as bitter as frustration and failure, and because of this you’ll want to shield your dreams from it.

You and your dreams need to instead feed off of criticism. Sometimes critics have decent advice worth noting, and other times they spew out criticism that is so infuriating that you want to keep moving and working harder to “show them.”

Give your dreams a little bit of the criticism to chew on once and awhile. If they really don’t like it, they can always spit it out.

5. Time

Every single day, even if it’s just for 10 minutes, work on your dream. Don’t let yourself get distracted or let “life” get in the way. You can’t neglect your dreams, because they will quickly die and begin to haunt you.

6. Success

You’ll often feed success to your dreams in different sizes. Sometimes it’ll be a meal, sometimes a giant banquet, and most often it’ll be a little snack. Even though it’s a little treat, it will energize you and your dreams so don’t overlook it.

Every Day

Every day is the best day ever. No second chances and no regrets, now and now and now. Memory is a reminder of… memory is a reminder that things were one way before, but TODAY is the chance to make everything how you want it to you be.
The first step is the first step towards the sun.

Start your day:

Today is going to be the best today that I can live.

Wake up.
Breathe in; the sun warms the air and your lungs smile.
The sunshine in your lungs permeates your blood.
Spreads throughout your entire body.
Energy, energy, energy.

NEVER

A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.

Learn it! Believe it!

“No matter how long it takes, it will get better. No matter how many tears fall there will always be a time when your eyes stop crying and your eyes start shining again. Stretched to one end, it will always bounce back to the beginning, in the end.”

“But when I look in the mirror, I see a girl who’s been through so much. And yet, she still finds a way to smile at the past. She still loves with all her heart, or what’s left of it. Changing Conditions

Accept, adjust, act and evaluate. It's a great strategy for successfully handling changing conditions.

When something that previously worked no longer works, accept the fact that things have changed. Embrace the new reality of what is, so you'll have the power to work with it.

Adjust your approach based on what you see. No matter what has happened to change things, there is always value to be found and always a way to utilize that value.

Go ahead and take action. Your new approach may or may not work, and the way to know for sure is to move forward with it.

Evaluate the results you get. Learn from what went wrong and from what went right.

The world is constantly changing, and new possibilities are being born every moment. Accept what has changed, adjust to it, take action, learn, and keep going until you get the results you seek.
