May be we all are not looking for a permanent escape. The following I caught up from Tehseen who believes that the Zen meditation is the ctrl+alt+del = recharged you. Though another study suggests that it definitely is a ctrl+n for sometime.
The study coming out of University of Atlanta suggests that “thinking about not thinking” frees your mind from distractions and helps is various disorders like ADD, hyperactivity and obsessive-compulsive. You don't want to end up in a mental asylum do you?
We all can get our way when we will it.
Just believe in the whole mantra of ctrl+alt+del.

Hmmnn....I had to sketch some styles, but was not in a mood for it...reading this post completely refreshed my mind....
I actually don't beleive this is true. I've been "not thinking" for so long that I've become numb to it all. And that's the worst feeling to have. TO not be able to feel anything. It's like you're a waste of space on earth.. I mean, you can't even *really* feel the happiness or the sadness, yet it's like this numbing pain..you know? Maybe it's only for me personally, but I feel like the more I push things away, there comes a time that the ignored emotions are just built up and they lash out at you at one point that you begin to corrode inside
i actually quite like the concept of ctrl+alt+delete ... i guess it can work
