And yes to all the negative Nancys and Neds: not everyone will fulfill these purposes, but everyone can.

Well, I'd say everyone fulfills the first three purposes at least. They be as happy as possible, even if it makes others unhappy. Everyone lives their life the way they want, at the cost of the life of others, which definitely changes others' life. It's only that no one thinks about making the world a better place than when they were born...
