Forgiveness is a funny thing. It warms the heart and cools the sting.
Forgiveness is an idea we love to hate or dismiss. The whole notion makes me grumpy as hell. I don't like it but the Universe couldn't care less.
Many people are afraid to forgive because they feel they must remember the wrong or they will not learn from it. The opposite is true. Through forgiveness, the wrong is released from its emotional stranglehold on us so that we can learn from it. Through the power and intelligence of the heart, the release of forgiveness brings expanded intelligence to work with the situation more effectively.
Try forgiving today and feel the rain on your skin :)

Yes yes yes! I'm a forgiving soul, I really am, lol, so I totally agree with you. I give second and third chances...sigh. Sometimes I regret, sometimes I don't. But it feels good to forgive anyway, that's why I do it. And, because I know how good it feels to be forgiven.
