Ten Ways To Make It A Great Day

Do something for someone else, something unexpected, out of a sincere desire to help, with no expectation of anything in return.

Tackle a challenge that has been hanging over your head for a long time.

Try something new -- a new food, a new route home, a new book, a new store.

Enjoy a few moments of quiet solitude. Think about the things in your life that are most important to you.

Call or visit a friend, just to say hello.

Learn something new, perhaps related to your job, perhaps not.

Smile for no reason at all, as often as you remember.

Say hello to a stranger.

Do something for the future, that won't "pay off" until several weeks, or months, or years from now.

When problems arise, smile and say "that's great, because..." Then find a way to finish the sentence.

Well for doing all of this stuff you need only one thing and that is "motivation", first of all make yourself motivated to go for ten ways.....

Someone once said - The wrinkles on your face should merely indicate where smiles have been. I think one can definitely change the motion of the day with something so trivial!

My greatest daily solitude is crossing Tower Bridge twice every day. Feeling that breeze hit you, getting caught in the flow of the water, watching the boats sail past - those are my 2 moments where I get easily lost in my own world :)

My first boss (who is an AMAZING guy), drilled into me to do something for the future, something which will payback or be useful in time. I am glad I took his advice... and have realised what he really meant over the last 5 years or so.

This post is exactly like you - AWESOME!
